About Chris

As Executive General Manager Technology, Chris leads the integrated development of the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of Suncorp New Zealand’s Technology. He is also responsible for developing and driving automation, robotics, and partnering opportunities across our business.

Chris is an experienced leader with a strong reputation for leading technology transformation to deliver material business improvements and outcomes. Prior to joining Suncorp New Zealand in 2022, Chris had previously held the role of EGM Insurance Technology for Suncorp in Australia from 2018 to 2019.

Now based in New Zealand, Chris brings extensive knowledge of the insurance and banking sector. Chris also has a strong foundation in information technology, from his early experience in architecture and infrastructure leadership through to his in roles leading digital transformation and solution delivery. He has led a wide range of initiatives, from core platform modernisation to the rollout and digitisation of customer systems, products, and services.
