Annette Quesado

About Annette

Annette Quesado is the Head of Suncorp New Zealand’s Legal and Secretariat Team, leading a team of lawyers who are responsible for providing corporate and insurance legal advice on key strategic projects and operations across the business (including joint venture AA Insurance). Her team also supports the operation and governance of the Suncorp New Zealand Boards.

Annette has been part of the Suncorp New Zealand team since 2012, bringing with her 20 years experience as both a corporate and litigation lawyer. She is highly skilled in Mergers and Acquisitions, corporate and regulatory law, contract negotiation, and commercial litigation and has advised on all of Suncorp New Zealand’s recent corporate partnerships and joint ventures.

Annette has been admitted to practice in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to joining Suncorp, she was a lawyer at leading firms in Auckland, the United Kingdom, and Melbourne. 

Outside of work, Annette loves spending time with her husband and her three children.
