Suncorp New Zealand appoints Mark Wilkshire EGM Customer Experience

Suncorp New Zealand announced today that Mark Wilkshire will join Suncorp New Zealand’s leadership team as Executive General Manager Customer Experience, effective 4 November 2019.

Mr Wilkshire will be responsible for the delivery of Suncorp’s customer strategy across its New Zealand brands, Vero Insurance and Asteron Life. He replaces Campbell Mitchell, who is now Executive General Manager, Claims.  

Speaking about Mr Wilkshire’s appointment, Adam Heath, Acting CEO of Suncorp New Zealand, said he brings a strong track record of delivering for customers and building high performing teams.

“Mark has been responsible for the development of strategies for long term growth and attracting and building deeper customer relationships during his career.”



Mr Wilkshire has held senior executive roles leading marketing, insurance, lending and sales and service functions at Kiwibank, ANZ and the Bank of New Zealand.

“Mark will bring significant customer-centric bench strength to our business as we focus on delivering outstanding outcomes and supporting customers when they need us most,” said Mr Heath.
