Jimmy Higgins named ANZIIF Leader of the Year 2025

Jimmy Higgins, Chief Executive Officer, Suncorp New Zealand has been named as the Leader of the Year at the 2025 ANZIIF Insurance Awards, held in Tāmaki Makaurau last night.
The award recognises Jimmy as one of New Zealand’s most influential insurance leaders acknowledging his impact in shaping national policy and championing the industry’s shift from reactive recovery to proactive natural hazard resilience.
Jimmy said he was honoured to receive the award amongst so many outstanding leaders from across the sector.
